Thirteen UMJ Lecturers Participate in Technical Guidance for the Acceleration of Professors

Thirteen lecturers at the Muhammadiyah University of Jakarta (UMJ) took part in the Technical Guidance (Bimtek) held by the Higher Education Service Institute (LLDIKTI) Region III at Bhayangkara University, Bekasi, Monday (06/11/23).

Thirteen UMJ lecturers who attended included Aminah Swarnawati, Elfarisna, Harmonis, Muhammad Hadi, Muhammad Nur A Birton, Oneng Nurul Bariyah, Sopa, Wustari Larasati Mangundjaya, Zulfitria, Nani Nurani Muksin, Sa Diyah El Adawiyah, Sodikin, and Sri Yunanto.

LLDIKTI invited lecturers from various Region III Universities to attend the Technical Guidance to Accelerate Career Proposals for Head Professors to become Research Professors. Previously, LLDIKTI Region III had held Pre-Bimtek activities on Thursday (12/10/23).

Deputy Chancellor I Dr. Muhammad Hadi, S.Kp., M.Kep was also present as a Bimtek participant. Hadi said that this Bimtek encourages lecturers to accelerate Professorship by achieving a credit score of 850 to 1050. This number was achieved through the publication of reputable international journals, "This is often an obstacle and is discussed in Bimtek."

Furthermore, Hadi also hopes that the thirteen lecturers who take part in Bimtek will increase the number of UMJ Professors next year.

On the same occasion, the Head of the Master of Communication Science Study Program (MIKOM) Dr. Aminah Swarnawati, M.Sc., said that this activity helped in making journals which were intended to increase lecturer credit scores. Aminah also hopes that there will be assistance for lecturers in accelerating towards becoming Professors.

"I hope that in the future there will be assistance from reviewing , submitting , to publishing of course," said Ami when asked for information via short message.

In another session, UMJ Postgraduate Lecturer, Dr. Zulfitria Zaidir, S.Pd, M.Pd., also expressed her hope that Bimtek can help the process of accelerating professors. "Hopefully, the duration of this activity will be extended to the maximum so that lecturers will understand more," hoped Zulfitri.
